165 mm (6.5″) 2-way component system with 28 mm (1 1/8″) hand-coated silk dome tweeter with coupling volume and reverberant diffusion in a compact installation size. High-end hand-coated paper cone with strong ferrite magnet and gloss-turned T-yoke with large core bore. Powder-coated die-cast aluminum basket with ventilation and high-quality connection terminals. Tweeter surface-mount and flush-mount enclosures with swivel & pivot function, including high-quality cabinet crossovers, 4 ohms impedance, nominal/music power handling 70 W RMS/100 W, 90 dB (1W/m) efficiency.

This is where the newly developed CXSVC28+ tweeter scores, a tweeter in a class of its own. A plus in performance – with the same size: just as in the POW+ systems, a 28 mm voice coil is found here in the smart installation dimension of a 25 mm tweeter. The small tweeter is a true masterpiece of engineering: noble fabric material, artfully pressed into a dome, hand-coated with a specially developed coating material and a specially developed coating process. The tweeter’s powerful neodymium magnet is surrounded by a newly developed coupling volume with reverberant diffusion. A special damping pad thereby fills the coupling volume and provides the necessary volume despite the extremely small housing. A true masterpiece on the smallest size – the tweeters guarantee the finest nuance imaging, silky and dynamic sound reproduction with an increased omnidirectional and significantly higher level. This allows for a lower crossover frequency and easier connection to the woofer/midrange. The PRO80 midrange driver is recommended to enhance the PRO16+. Manufacturing and development Made in Germany.
